Finding my own Style

Sometimes it's really a bit hard to find your style when you sell your items. It's easy to get into the "what everyone else is doing" rut. I'm not saying copying just doing a style that's not really yours but seems to be popular with buyers.I've decided to do my own thing and see if I can start my own style trend. I'm sure it will make me more confident in my chosen field ( even more so if anything sells lol ) and be more self fulfilling. Continue

Saying Goodbye!

I enjoyed my time and getting to know the people here so I thought I should at least write a note to say goodbye. Yup, for the brief months that I re-opened my etsy shop I'd struggled with the thought that maybe my timing was wrong. My son still demands alot of my time and attention and I've decided to re-focus fully on him for now. Whew... Monday

Anyone else out there exhausted on a Monday evening? I'm not even sure I have the energy to do any crafts... how sad is that? My daughter just had her first dance practice that we were able to watch (moved to a room with windows). It was so amazing watching her learn something new. Exhausting Day

Just an observation regarding life in general. I'm new to etsy (only a few weeks) and since discovering this place, my crafting time has increased ten-fold. Having a 5 year old and finishing up my Masters degree while working full time left no time for my crafting. However, these past few weeks, I have been creating pretty much nightly.
