I think that's a great photo and doesn't distract from your card. Well done!

I just sent my info to you! ~Jocelyn

I've sent up to 8 cards in a 6x9" bubble envelope, backed it with a piece of cardboard, and sent it first class and it still only cost me a few dollars (I think it was a little over $2). Not too bad. And they arrived to their destination safely. J...

I know! Joann's is having a 40% sale on all their scrapbooking stock! I couldn't believe my luck when I walked in the other day.

IM in love with the Nestabilities by Spellbinders... they are metal dies that I can use in my Sizzix machine (with a few adaptions) and if I don't feel like dragging out my big Sizzix... then I use my handheld punches Giga Scallop circle, oval etc...

I use paper punches but they don't last very long. I usually have to replace at least two of them a year.

Thanks Sarah!

Jocelyn, That is so crazy! I was totally thinking about this recently too. I've been seeing alot of tags made up of scalloped circles that have a circle inside it and was wondering the same thing. I just received my Oriental Trading catalog last n...

I use Cricut and am loving it.

For any scalloped edge round tags and embellishments that I use, I use Stampin' Up! punches. I also love their tag punches, but I don't own them yet. I also use a Creative Memories Cutting System for larger circles and ovals. I also have CMs squar...

I use my Nestabilities and my Cuttlebug.

That's what I figured, that everyone used a Cricut. I'm borrowing my friend's for the weekend and I love it! It's definitely fast and SO easy. I just don't want to fork out the hefty price right now.

I use a Cricut - fast & easy:) It came with the George & basic shapes cartridge which has 2 tag shapes as well as every other basic shape that you can cut and hole punch to make a tag. Hope this helps a bit.

Tags! I see so many cute tags with scalloped edges (circle and squares) and actual tag shapes. I'm just curious, those of you who make these what supplies do you use? Punches, cricut, slice, etc. Precut tags? Or something else? I have a slice mac...

Thank you so much for all your wonderful feedback! I'm so glad that re-doing my pictures is not a waste of time. I agree that a good use of props can really add to the mood of the item and like to see them in photos myself. And all your pictures l...

About Me:
A scrapbook store is my candy shop. I get so excited with the wealth of paper, bling and embellishments they have that I can't wait to get home and start working with my new findings - yet I can't get myself to leave the store!

I have loved to scrapbook since I was 13 or 14 and have just recently found a new niche in cardmaking. I am also in the middle of planning a wedding (which got me interested in the idea of designing invitations - my new venture) and enjoy spending time with my hubby-to-be.

New Etsy Listing

I thought I'd try something different and posted a listing where the buyer can choose their favorite cards from my inventory at a discounted price. We'll see how it goes! See the listing here.

My first "real" sales

I am super excited and just had to share. I decided to try something different and post a listing for the buyer to pick any 4 cards from my inventory at a set price. I listed a second listing this morning and got an order this afternoon! She also bought another set of of 4 - 8 cards total! So I've made 3 sales in the last 2 days (I have 4 total now, hehe). But I'm not really counting my first one - though it was just as exciting, it's a different kind of excitement since it's someone that alread… Continue

Hi, and thanks so much for the compliment. I have been fairly active in the forums (up until mid-June--I've taken a small crafting break over the summer). I've also done some paid promtions. The biggest was on Craft Cult (heart-o-matic). No immediate sales, but lots of shop exposure. Other than that, I haven't done anything special. As a matter of fact, I raised my prices after about a month, since people were telling me they were too low. Sorry it doesn't seem like much help, but I just can't think of anything else. Thanks again, Michelle N.

My favorite color is red and I love little details that make anything unique. The paper is gorgeous and I love the button detail.
