My mom and I just started Nellie's Girls Paper Crafts. We are both in love with paper and all the beautiful things you can do with it. I make scrapbooking and cardmaking elements, while my mom tends to make cards. We would love to be part of a team to help promote our shop, expand our knowledge, and make friends.
Thanks Cindy! Barbara and I worked for a long time trying to come up with an idea to work together. I appreciate your comments. I just visited your stores. You do beautiful work and are very versatile!

THANK YOU, CINDY! I have so much fun making the TOOTH FAIRY BOXES! I added photo's showing how the top unfolds so you can add pictures of those TOOTHLESS GRINS!
Congratulations to your daughter!
Since you mentioned this I have had "Oompa Lumpa doopity doo, I have another riddle for you....." floating in and out of my head! I loved that book growing up, and remember being so disappointed that they didn't stick to it for the movie. Charlie didn't transgress! WEll, they did similar type changes to the story of Charlotte's Web as well. I loved that book too, and was so excited for our 5th grade field trip to go see the first animated movie. I was disappointed they had not been true to the book. What a discovery at 10! My kids are now forwarned-ha.
I hope your daughter has a great time. Mikaela, my eldest, was just asked to read for Alice for a theatre class. She is just stepping in to help with this one scene during a private class that needs another person. She likes to be able to do this...she gets some experience without the stage fright.
Community theatre sounds fun. I think my daughter, who is 14, would like to do this at some point. My family also used to sing together a lot. Now we live all across the states, and my mother is no longer alive, so that doesn't happen hardly ever. We did have a family reunion a couple years ago with my cousins, etc. and all of us had a hymn sing. That was fun.
SO much for paper talk, eh? ha.
I am now off to transplant a blueberry bush! And to prune the others. tis the season for that here. Have a great day. j

Cindy-Thank you so much for the comments on my Lilac piece. I have to say that it's my first attempt at such an item. I liked it, but as you know, items like this are often personal. It means a lot and gives me a bit of a boost to keep going.
Hi Cindy, thanks...
Just off the paper trail, what kinds of songs do you like to sing?
We -my whole family-sing a whole gamut ...kids' songs, old folk songs, hymns, broadway musical pieces...my husband plays guitar, and daughter plays the piano, so we sing along with these.
have a great week!
