I like your idea of doing origami mobiles... I think that's really cute, although I don't know if it's overdone. I say if you like doing it, just put it in your shop and see what happens! :)

- Although I am new to etsy, I have been crafting my entire life. I've always loved reading, writing and... of course... paper! One of my earlier childhood memories was shopping with my dad at the age of 6. We stopped in the dollar store, where he said I could pick out two things. I bought a pad of paper and some pens! I've always been an avid reader (favorite authors include W. S. Maugham and O. Henry) and writer (I fill journals like it's my job. If only it paid...)
Anyway, after sending my homemade cards and notes to friends and family over the years, they finally got sick of me taking up so much of their time with my ideas (joking!) and suggested I try selling on etsy. After a few battles with my inner demons (Am I good enough? Will it work? Will people hate my designs and send me nasty emails?!) I decided to go for it.
As cheezy as it sounds (because it is!) the day I decided to open my shop, I saw a quote posted on a sign board at my local dry cleaner:
Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where all the fruit is.
So, here I sit on my limb, wobbly and unsure, but totally alive and excited!
