Wow, you are reading my mind! I literally was logging on to write the EXACT same thing! I was more asking for anyone's advice....my shop now has expanded and I have invitations, thank you notes, that sort of thing for showers, bridal needs, etc. But I also still have my pregnancy journals and wedding planners as well. Now they are all in the same theme (wedding/baby, etc) But I was wondering if anyone thought I should split them up????
And then, yes, how DO you keep up with everything, and promotions, listings, and so on??
I wasn't much help CS, just piggybacking on your questions! :)
I have two shops on Etsy. One is my paper shop, which I am planning on extending the contents of and adding things like earrings, and whatever else I dream up. I keep changing it, trying to find a niche in the market and get some sales going. ;)
I also have a photography shop, because I love taking pictures so much...I have yet to have a sale there. :( BUT, I have taken a lot of photos recently of varying things, so I am hoping that as I start listing new pics, it will get some more love. :) Fingers crossed...
I don't have any trouble keeping up with them both. I will take time to work on one, and the other will sit for awhile, but then I switch back. I do always check my emails and the shops for sales or convos that I wouldn't want to miss. That only takes a few minutes out of my morning, though, so it's not a big deal. If business starts to pick up, then I might have to rearrange my priorities again to accomodate, but that should be just fine if it means I'm selling! :)
I definitely agree! I live by Paper Source's mantra: Do something creative every day...or I at least try to. My day job got much busier two months ago and I've missed crafting on a consistent level. However, it's also nice to know there are no dea...
